Helyea is a two-bedroom shack on a one-acre block in Lunawanna. It sleeps up to six.
It isn’t a styled retreat or a luxury cabin, it is a quiet, honest place, kept clean and uncluttered, where the bird calls and the changing light are the main events. It is a shack.
Inside
Two bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen, a dining room and a bathroom. It's a shack.
Second bedroom
Queen bed (firm mattress) and a double bed (soft mattress)..
Lounge
Superb couches perfect for lounging on in front of the fire. Plenty of board games and puzzles on-hand if required.
Kitchen
A full-sized kitchen with everything you need to cook a proper meal — stovetop, oven, microwave, and all the usual gear.
Dining room
A large timber dining table seats the whole group — with big windows looking straight onto Daniels Bay
Bath & laundry
Decent bathroom with a shower and laundry facilities. The water is captured on the roof and stored in tanks - please don't have long showers!
Outside
An acre, mostly left alone.
A large undercover area with a gas BBQ, a large table with bench seating, and a magnificent outdoor fireplace.

Perfect for those who can't drag themselves inside on a cold night.
Private acre
No close neighbours, a quiet road, and a track to the water’s edge.

You are guaranteed to see a number of curious pademelons and a wallaby or two, and later in the evening the possums will be on the move
